Samson: God who fights Chapter 1

If God chooses someone, it will start from the womb. Its His nature, its His way of his promise and deliverance.

Before Samson was born, the mom has to follow instructions from an Angel whom God choosen to deliver its good news. So the main word here is again the word: obedience.

Before Samson became who he is, the mom had to perfect her diet in her womb. No tasting of wine or any fermented drinks and no eating of unclean foods. 

If the mom didn't follow carefully which she did it perfectly then Samson could not be what God hoped it to be. But his mom obeyed. So Samson came to be even if his mom was barren for a long time.

They say barrenness is a curse, but in this scenario, the barrenness was reserved for God's purpose and plan. This is how God starts to bless and provides instructions to humans on how to obey and claim the rewards. For Samson's mom, her son became the best thing in the world. For God, He will fight for Israel through Samson's "Hair?"

No razor must touch, no man shall cut a Nizirite's Hair. Sounds like Rapunzel being trapped in a tall tower, has been deprived of this one thing in the world which is the scissors, for a haircut. 

Am sorry but Samson is all about Hair story, let's take a look at this life and how God's strength is woven into a human body, how he provides, and how he takes away that Godly strength man covets.

If there were weightlifting in Olympics during those older days, I bet Samson would be the first to crack the gold medal and would have done it so effortlessly. God's strength is with him, he is the living muscle of God. Who dares to compete? Who dares to kill? Who dares to invade? 

The Philistines had a hard time and had no peace for challenging Israel every day. They have to knock off Samson first and taste the pain of his knuckles before they can even step in and invade Israel who have already settled in the promised land. 

God's protection will come even if it's in the form of human hands to pound and knock down the real face of its enemies and will surely crush them to the ground. God is not a weak opponent. He has always been behind His chosen ones, a superior and perfect Godly strength wrapped in the human body.
