Sciene versus religion

Other than crossing the Jordan river and the Battle and fall of a double-walled city called Jericho, I am much interested to know more about what we call nowadays "the lost day."

Scientists have many perplexing ways and calculations that our minds would just drop and say: what's the bottom line? Now they would say this: We lost a day in the universe!

Our computer is calculating the universe time its running fine then suddenly stops, a red dot counts 24 hrs a day is missing! what the hell? Where is it? Why can't we move further unless we solve this missing 24 hrs! 

Religion says: Did our scientists become idiots? How about reading the bible and turning to Joshua 10. 

Scientists: No we know that Joshua stole 23 hrs and 20 minutes from the universe! We cannot recount further because the exact missing count is 24 hrs!

Religion says: You are right but still thinking wrong! I beg to disagree! Because it was never told to be exactly a day but know the word "approximately" a day!

Scientists ask: Then where is the 40 minutes? If you tell me that 40 minutes is just nothing else but an approximate then the God in the bible is not God.

Religion: what about the reverse of time mentioned in Hezekiah's days? Shall we scan II Kings 20? Isaiah made the shadow of the sun return backward ten degrees to impress the dying King Hezekiah. "Ten degrees is exactly 40 minutes...Isn't that amazing?"The remaining 40 minutes apparently was a borrowed time by Isaiah to answer the King's prayer as the Lord fulfills to add 15 more years to his age and deliver the Israelites from the Assyrians. 

Scientists: Facts over fiction. What you're telling me is a story, not a fact that has not been proven otherwise to be a fact!

Religion: You can say that but don't blame us for not telling you so about Joshua's lost day was approximately a day and the borrowed time from Isaiah to impress the dying King Hezekiah is an exact matter of 40 minutes. Exactly as you were missing from Joshua's lost day!

Scientists sighs: We can call it a day.
